Zanzibar, Tanzania

Day 1

Arrive in Dar Es Salaam. Option to explore Tanzania's mainland and it's nightlife scene.

Day 2

Depart Dar Es Salaam by ferry boat to Stone Town where we'll board our private chartered vehicle and drive to Mikumi for the Safari. Day 1 of the safari will include a visit to the Maasai Village. Where you'll experience the traditional Maasai way of living.

Day 3 

Day 2 of the Safari will begin with a full game drive in an open jeep. While on Safari, we'll spot different kinds of animals. Lodging for the night will be  at Uluguru Mountains.

Day 4

Day 3 of the Safari will include a walk through the nearby village, where you'll be able to interact with villagers. This will be followed by a hike to a local waterfall. Afterwards, we depart Uluguru and drive back to Stone Town. We'll make it back to Stone town in time to go a Night Market Tour.

Day 5

We explore the beautiful and historic city of Stone Town. We'll learn why the Island of Zanzibar is referred to as Spice Town, as we tour a local Spice Farm. We will also learn some Swahili! - one of the official languages of Tanzania....Hakuna Matata!! We'll wrap up the evening with drinks and catch the sunsetting from the Sunset Bar's rooftop.

Day 6 

Safari time again! This time we board a traditional dhow boat and embark on the Safari Blue Tour. Where we'll have a chance to swim and snorkel in the beautiful Indian Ocean. Free time afterwards - explore Stone Town on your own.

Day 7 

We'll take a walking tour of Stone Town to learn about Zanzibar's rich history. Afterwards we'll visit Prison Island, which was once used to house detained slaves. Today, Prison Island serves as a refuge for giant sea tortoises. It offers crystal blue waters, great for swimming and snorkeling.  We'll end the night with Spiced Zanzibar tea and garlic bread  at the popular Stone Town Café. Free time afterwards - explore Stone Town on your own.

Day 8

Today we're off to Nungwi for fun in the sun! Nungwi is at the most northern tip of Zanzibar and it boast some of the best beaches in the world. We'll visit a local turtle conservatory - where you'll have a chance to swim with turtles. If you have any energy left in you, we'll make our way out to one of Nungwi's famous beach parties......because what's a vacation without a lil turnup!

Day 9

We'll continue to explore Nungwi - this time by boat! Where we'll board a boat and set off to search for dolphins in the Indian Ocean. Afterwards, we'll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10

Nungwi Free Day! Use the time to rest and reset or explore the beautiful beach village on your own.

Day 11

Farewell to Zanzibar! Today we catch the ferry and depart for the airport in Dar Es Salaam.

Trip Cancellation & Customer Refund Policy

• All bookings are subject to approval. When you apply, your card will be charged and if you are not approved within 30 days, the funds will be released back to your card.

• You may cancel any time before your approval and receive a full refund.

• If you are approved and cannot attend, you can cancel by February 1st and be refunded all money minus the transaction fees.

• All prices are listed for individual booking. Each registrant will need to apply individually.

• All payments are subject to platform processing fees of 3% per transaction.

• If this trip must be canceled due to restrictions in Tanzania due to COVID-19, the customer will receive credit for everything that is recovered from vendors and other service providers to be applied towards a future trip.

• If a COVID-19 test is required to enter Tanzania at the time of the trip, you are responsible for quarantining and having a negative test to enter the country. No refunds will be given if you have a positive COVID-19 test and you are not allowed to enter Tanzania.

• If you are required to quarantine while on the trip, you are responsible to pay for your own separate accommodations.

• Must have a Passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of travel.
