We’re bringing a hand-picked group of individuals together to immerse themselves in the soul that runs through the cities of Salvador de Bahia & Rio de Janeiro.

Our journey starts in Rio de Janeiro, where samba, little-Africa neighborhoods, and world-famous cityscapes set the stage. Learn to surf on Rio’s famed beaches, join samba rehearsals, and visit Pedra do Sal — a living birthplace of samba. Then fly northeast to Salvador, Bahia, the epicenter of Afro-Brazilian culture. Wander through the colorful streets of Pelourinho, dance to live drums at sunset, and taste the bold flavors of Bahian cuisine infused with African roots. Bahia is more than a destination - it's an experience that speaks to the spirit.

PAYMENTS & PAYMENT PLANS
All payments to Take Off With Tiff are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Take Off With Tiff has contractual agreements with hotels, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.

A $50 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.

TRAVEL NOTES & CULTURAL GUIDELINES:

Passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond travel dates. Expiration date no SOONER than October 2nd, 2026.

**Visa required for all U.S. Passport holders. If you're not a U.S. passport holder, be sure to check your issuing countries' passport requirement for entering Brazil.

If visiting terreiros you’ll be given a cultural briefing — dress modestly, follow hosts’ directions, and expect photo restrictions unless explicitly permitted.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Welcome to Brazil
​Bem-vindo ao Brasilto! After being picked up from Rio de Janeiro-Galeão International Airport (GIG), you’ll be taken to your accommodations in one of Rio's trendy neighborhoods. Get settled into your hotel room and freshen up, meet the rest of the TOWT crew, hang out at the beach or poolside, or just catch up on some sleep.

DAY 2: Rio - Explore the City
Today, we'll hit the streets of Rio for a walking tour of the city, visiting the local markets, and checking out must-see landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the famous Selarón Steps(Escadaria Selarón).

In the evening, you’ll have free time to enjoy a Caipirinha on the beach and watch the sun set over the Copacabana shores.

DAY 3: Rio - Surfs up!
We’ll start our day exploring the vibrant and resilient community of a local favela with a guided tour to get a deeper understanding of the culture and daily life within these colorful neighborhoods. Later on in the day, it's time to hang ten and catch some waves, as we take surfing lessons at a local surfing school.

DAY 4: Rio - Free Day
Explore Rio on your own.

Today is a free day to do as you wish! This is when those hours of social media research finally pay off!
The day is yours to explore Rio on your own.

DAY 5: Welcome to Bahia
A short domestic short flight from Rio will take us to Salvador de Bahia "Black Rome".
Be prepared to hit the ground running today! After dropping our bags at our accommodations in Bahia, we’ll immediately immerse ourselves in the local culture by taking a walking tour through the city to visit historical landmarks, sample traditional foods, learn about the people and visit the world famous Pelourinho, the heart of Salvador!

Later that evening as a group, we’ll all head to our TOWT Welcome Dinner to celebrate the official start of our Afro-Brazilian journey together.

DAY 6: Bahia - Beachy Vibes
We have a leisurely start to the day, as we enjoy relaxing at one of Bahia's vibrant local beaches. We'll swim, eat and drink with the locals. Think sunbathing, fresh caipirinhas, spicy street eats, and listening to live music as the sunsets on the colorful coastline.

DAY 7: Bahia - Culture on top of culture
Our day begins with the electrifying energy of Capoeira, where spontaneous and powerful movements bring this martial art to life. You’ll be captivated by the rhythm and storytelling of Samba, the fiery acrobatics of Maculelê, and the pulse of traditional drumming. Live music ties it all together, creating an atmosphere that’s as authentic as it is exhilarating.

DAY 8: Bahia - Setting Sail

Explore Bahia on your own.

​Today is a free day to do as you wish! You can use this time to hit up all those must see spots on your list. Or maybe you’ll decide to shop til you drop….The day is yours to explore Bahia on your own.

TRIP CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Trip Cancellation & Customer Refund Policy

All bookings are subject to approval.

If you are approved and cannot attend, you can cancel by December 31st and be refunded all money minus non-refundable deposit and any transaction fees.

All prices are listed for individual booking. Each registrant will need to apply individually.

All payments are subject to platform processing fees of 3% per transaction.

You must have a Passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of travel. Refunds will not be given for invalid/expired passports.

Refunds will not be given to travelers who fail to obtain the necessary travel documents for entry into Brazil.
