ITINERARY

Day 1: Dalal ak jàmm! Welcome to Senegal

After arrivals and hotel check -in, we’ll kick things off with a curated city tour to get familiar with Dakar’s energy, culture, coastline, and creative scene. Expect colorful streets, ocean views, music, art, and your first taste of teranga — Senegalese hospitality.

That evening, we’ll gather for our Welcome Dinner featuring amazing local cuisine, cocktails, music, and introductions. Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, this is where the group chat officially comes to life.

Day 2: Roots & Recipes

Today we take a powerful and beautiful journey to Gorée Island — one of Senegal’s most historic landmarks and an important site connected to the history of the African diaspora.

We’ll explore the island’s colorful streets, ocean views, local art, and historic sites while reflecting on the legacy and resilience of our ancestors.

Later, it’s time to switch gears and tap into Senegalese flavor with a hands-on cooking class led by local chefs.

Day 3: Dakar Like a Local

Come hungry!! Because today is all about experiencing Dakar like a local with a curated street food tour through some of the city’s best hidden gems and neighborhood favorites. From grilled seafood to fresh juices and sweet treats, you’ll taste the flavors that make Senegal unforgettable.

After the food tour, we’ll hit local markets and boutiques for shopping. Think handmade jewelry, contemporary African fashion, leather goods, artwork, fragrances, and custom pieces you’ll definitely be bringing home.

Day 4: Glamping in the Motherland

Today we leave the city behind and head toward Lake Retba (Lac Rose), for an exciting ATV ride along its pink waters and surreal scenery.

Then, we’re off to the stunning Lompoul Desert for a unique desert experience. Expect camel rides, sunset photos, music, dinner under the stars, and luxury camp vibes in the middle of the dunes!

This is one of those “you had to be there” kind of days!

DAY 5: Return to Dakar

After breakfast in the desert, we’ll make our way back to Dakar.

The rest of the day is yours. Relax at the hotel, schedule a spa treatment, explore the city, or recharge before another fun night out.

Day 6: Do You! (Free Day)

Sleep in. Hit the beach. Book a photoshoot. Café-hop. Explore museums. Shop again. Or simply do nothing at all. Today is intentionally flexible so you can experience Dakar your way.

We’ll spend the day enjoying a beach club. Think relaxation, good food, music, cocktails, and one last chance to soak in the magic of Senegal with the group!

We know, it feels like you just got here, but it’s time to say goodbye. Use today to check off those final items on your list and to do any last minute souvenir shopping before it’s time to head home.

TRIP CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Trip Cancellation & Customer Refund Policy

All bookings are subject to approval.
If you are approved and cannot attend, you can cancel by July 15th and be refunded all money minus the transaction fees.
All prices are listed for individual booking. Each registrant will need to apply individually.
All payments are subject to platform processing fees of 3% per transaction.
If vaccines are required to enter Senegal at the time of the trip, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary vaccines. No refunds will be given if you fail to obtain the required vaccines and you are not allowed to enter Senegal.
You must have a Passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of travel. Refunds will not be given for invalid/expired passports.
Refunds will not be given to travellers who fail to obtain the necessary travel documents for entry into Senegal.
