DAY 1: WELCOME TO THE LAND OF SMILES: THAILAND!

After 24 hours or more of traveling (Whew Chile!!), arrive in Bangkok. After being picked up from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), you’ll be taken to your accommodations in one of Bangkok’s premier neighborhoods. Get settled into your hotel room and freshen up, grab a bite to eat, meet the rest of the TOWT crew, or just catch up on some sleep. Today is all about settling in, finding your bearings, and gearing up for what is sure to be an epic trip!

DAY 2: TEMPLES & TURN UPS

Buddhism is the most practiced religion in Thailand, as you will immediately see after wandering around a bit. Just in Bangkok alone, there are over 400 temples! For your first full day in Bangkok, prepare yourself for a full immersion of culture and history as we explore the historic sites like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun.

Later that evening we get dressed up for our TOWT Welcome Dinner. 

To end what is sure to be the perfect blend of a righteousness and ratchetness type of day......after dark, we’ll do it Thai style and hit up the world-famous Khao San Road. You’ve all seen Hangover 2. Lol. So be sure to pace y-o-u-r-s-e-l-v-e-s!!

DAY 3: WORKS OF ART

We start the day by exploring two exotic markets outside of Bangkok. At the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, we hop aboard a long tailed wooden boat and cruise through the slender canals to experience the vibrant scene of vendors selling exotic, colorful produce from their boats. Afterwards we continue onto the unusual Maeklong Railway Market, where stalls full of goods all occupy the narrow train tracks. You’ll see how fast the vendors pack their stalls to make way for the approaching train!

Are you ready to rumble? Tonight, we take it to the rings! Muay Thai is an ancient Thai Martial Art, originally developed for use in military combat. It is known as the "Art of 8 Limbs", for the 8 parts of the body that are used for striking: the 2 hands, 2 legs (shins, mostly), 2 elbows, and 2 knees. Today, it is a popular spectator sport in Thailand. We will have an up close and personal experience as we head to one of Bangkok’s famous Muay Thai stadiums to watch a live boxing match with world-class fighters.

DAY 4: WELCOME TO CHIANG MAI

The early part of the day is yours to explore Bangkok on your own. ***But don’t venture out too far, we have a flight to catch in the evening!***

A short domestic flight from the south will take us to the Jewel of the North... Chiang Mai! The city, surrounded by mountains and jungle, screams adventure and is the perfect place to continue our trip. We’ll drop our bags at our hotel and then head to the Sunday Night Food Market food to try some northern flavors! Don’t miss the chance to try some Khao Soi, a delicious curry noodle dish that is a specialty of Chiang Mai.

DAY 5: ELEPHANTS AND ALL THAT JAZZ!

We start out early and make our way into the jungle as we embark on a one-of-a-kind experience and visit an ethical rescued elephant facility. We’ll spend some quality time in a safe & ethical environment and learn about the Asian elephant’s long and fascination history. We will make healthy snacks for them, walk along their sides through the beautiful, lush forest and bathe them in the river. 

We’ll finish what’s already been an incredible day, by heading to a live music venue later that evening, to listen to some jazz music. The North Gate Jazz Co-op is renowned for hosting exceptional music talents in Chiang Mai. The establishment gets its name from its location on the corner of a busy intersection just across from the Chang Phuak Gate. Tonight, we find out what all the hype is about with this place as we take in the vibes and have some drinks.

DAY 6: NOM,NOM,NOM

Food and cooking are an integral part of Thai culture. We’ve been enjoying eating traditional Thai food the past few days on the trip, now it’s time we combine the two and take an authentic Thai Cooking Class! We will learn the art of Thai food in a dedicated Chiang Mai cookery school. Here we will sample fresh produce and test ingredients at a local market, then explore the organic kitchen garden and get to work cheffing up some delicious Thai dishes. Because there is no better way to learn about a country’s culture than through its food!

***After our culinary experience, we head to the airport for our flight to Phuket.***

After arriving in Phuket, we’ll make our way to check into our hotel. Once here, settle in and take in all the stunning views…because we have finally made it to paradise! Use the rest of the day to experience Phuket as you please, relax by the hotel pool, go grab a bite to eat, go check out all the action at Patong Beach. The evening is yours to do as you wish!

DAY 7: ISLAND HOPPING

The moment we’ve all been waiting for……island paradise!!  Phuket is surrounded by turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea and exotic islands. One of the best ways to experience all Phuket has to offer is island hopping. Each island has unique character and charm, from peaceful coves and secluded bays to bustling markets and vibrant nightlife. Today we board a private boat in search of powder white sand, beach bars and sunsets, as we visit some of Phuket’s popular islands. So be sure to pack your swimsuit, shades, and sunblock, because we turning up on the people's boat!!

DAY 8: DOWN AND DIRTY

Did someone say Fight Club?! Today we see how well we remember the fancy moves from the Muay Thai fighters in Bangkok, as we test out our skills in a Muay Thai Fight Class. We will train in one of Thailand’s toughest Muay Thai gym’s and work off all the Pad Thai and noodles we’ve been eating on the trip!

Afterwards, we’ll keep the adrenaline levels soaring during an action-packed adventure that includes ziplines and ATVs. Enjoy the wind in your hair as you zip through narrow trails, cross rivers, and pass through dense forests. We’ll embark on a thrilling ride through the jungles of Phuket, as we ride along rugged trails, past local villages, and through the island’s rubber plantations.

DAY 9: F* THE CLUB UP!!

Yesterday, we took it to fight club, today we hit up a much more luxurious type of club……Beach Club!!

But not just any beach club, a floating beach club! Sea views are inevitable as the beach club floats off the coast of Phuket. Unlike any other beach club in the world, a floating beach club is essentially a miniature man-made floating island fitted with lavish amenities such as an infinity swimming pool, expansive pool deck, restaurant and even a bar! So, get ready to live it up on the sea!!

Optional Beach Club Upgrade: $65

DAY 10: CHILLAX

After waking up with a ‘Chang-over’, you’ll be glad to know today is pretty relaxed. ***We bid farewell to paradise and fly back to bustling city life in Bangkok.***

Today is a much-needed chill day for the group, as the last 10 days have been truly EPIC. It’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to relaxing massage in Bangkok, you deserve it!  It’s not something we include in our trip, but you have the time, and we suggest getting a Thai massage before leaving Bangkok. (optional activity - not included in trip cost)

DAY 11: IT'S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE!

We know, it feels like the trip just started, but it’s time to say farewell to Thailand. Use today to do any last minute souvenir shopping, or stop by your favorite restaurant one last time before it’s time to head home! The time may have flown by, but the memories and connections you've made will last forever. Or at least until the next TOWT Trip!

Trip Cancellation & Customer Refund Policy​

• All bookings are subject to approval. 

• All payments to Take Off With Tiff are non-refundable. This is because Take Off With Tiff has contractual agreements with hotels, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.

• All prices are listed for individual booking. Each registrant will need to apply individually.

• All payments are subject to platform processing fees of 5% per transaction.

• You must have a Passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of travel. Refunds will not be given for invalid/expired passports.

• Refunds will not be given to travellers who fail to obtain the necessary travel documents for entry into Thailand.
